On 17th December 2025, the S6 Biology cohort undertook an educational excursion to T·PARK, a state-of-the-art integrated waste management facility in Hong Kong. This field study was designed to complement the curriculum on energy transfer, ecosystem sustainability, and human impacts on the environment. T·PARK represents a significant municipal investment in sustainable technology, functioning simultaneously as an operational sludge treatment plant, a renewable energy generator, and a public education centre. The visit provided a critical opportunity to examine theoretical, biological, and ecological principles within an applied, real-world context.

Achievements
On December 1, 2025, our school held a significant mourning section for the victims of the Tai Po fire. The day began with a solemn Flag Raising Ceremony, during which our flag was displayed at half-mast as a symbol of our respect and sorrow for those lost in this tragedy. Following this, a one-minute silence was observed, allowing students and staff alike to reflect on the loss and pay their respects.
After the silence, a special class teacher period was dedicated to discussing the impact of the incident. Teachers emphasized our core values of Benevolence and Empathy, encouraging students to care for one another and understand the emotions surrounding such events. This was a crucial opportunity for students to engage in meaningful conversations and support each other during this difficult time.
Students were invited to express their feelings through written reflections. This exercise allowed them to articulate their thoughts and emotions, fostering a supportive environment for healing and understanding. For those experiencing emotional challenges, our school social workers were available to provide guidance and support, ensuring that every student received the help they needed.
Overall, the mourning section served as a powerful reminder of our shared humanity and the importance of compassion in the aftermath of tragedy. We stand together in solidarity with the victims and their families, reinforcing our commitment to nurturing a caring school community.
