On December 4, 2024, the S6 biology students had the valuable opportunity to visit the Endangered Species Centre in Sham Shui Po, organized by the Agriculture, Fisheries and Conservation Department (AFCD). During their visit, they were engaged by an insightful presentation delivered by the AFCD team, which focused on the various endangered species found in Hong Kong. The students learned about the critical issues surrounding these species, including the controversial use of animal parts such as rhino horns and saiga antelope horns in traditional Chinese medicine.
