Beach Cleanup Service (5/7/25)
In this program organized by BGCA, volunteer members will enhance their knowledge about the community service in environmental protection and understanding about the importance of ocean protection through training sessions and experiential-learning activities.
On 5/7/25, 21 students participated in a beach cleanup at a beach near Tai Lam, Tuen Mun. They were working in groups, picking up the rubbish and recording the types. At the end, they have cleared up more than ten bags of garbage, mostly plastic waste. Through the social service experience, students understand the impacts of human on the environment and learn to be more considerate in their daily life to reduce their harms to the nature.
