VISUAL ART AWARD

We are delighted to share that Jannat Waseen Mir from Class 6B has been awarded the Merit Award in the Hung Shui Kiu/Ha Tsuen New Development Area
“UnCover the Joy” Manhole Cover Design Competition 2026. In recognition of her outstanding achievement, she received a cash prize of HK$500 along with a certificate.

The competition invited students to design manhole covers that showcase the unique features and vision of the HSK/HT NDA, highlighting themes such as a dynamic hub of diversification, a well-connected and liveable community, and a harmonious blend of vibrant urban life with tranquil surroundings. Entries were judged based on theme conveyance, creativity, overall composition, and practicability.

Jannat’s design stood out among many impressive submissions, reflecting both artistic creativity and a strong understanding of the development area’s vision.

The school extends its warm congratulations to Jannat for her remarkable accomplishment and looks forward to seeing more of her creative successes in the future.
