Visit to Science & Technology Fair 參觀科學及科技展覽

S5 Chemistry Students visited the Science & Technology Fair at the Hong Kong Science Museum, and honestly? It hits way different when you see real science in action!

Students got to mess with real weather tracking tech, test high-tech gadgets, and simulations firsthand. Those abstract HKDSE Physics, Chemistry, and Biology concepts suddenly made total sense once we saw how government & university scientists use them every day to keep Hong Kong flourishing.

Students had the chance to chat face-to-face with actual engineers and professionals. They recognized a familiar face on TV – a central figure & TV reporter of the HK Observatory, Mr. Shum Chi-Tai. Turns out, working in STEAM isn’t just sitting in a lab – it’s building the future of our city. The students were thoroughly impressed with the booths on display and some are even exploring possible career pathways in the field!

The Science & Technology Fair proved that learning beyond the classroom can be interactive, meaningful, and genuinely exciting!

日前，本校中五級化學科學生參觀香港科學館「科學及科技展覽」。他們親眼見證科學在現實生活中的應用，讓同學們感到煥然一新、大開眼界！

展覽現場設有多個互動展區，學生不僅能親手操作真實的氣象監測科技，更體驗了多項高科技裝置與模擬系統。同學們也看到科學家們如何將不同的科學知識應用於日常工作，守護香港的繁榮與發展。這些體驗令原本在書本上抽象的概念頓時變得生動易明。

活動期間，同學們更有幸與現場的工程師及數據分析專家面對面交流。令人驚喜的是，大家還在現場遇到了香港天文台代表兼天氣節目主持人沈志泰先生。這次交流讓大家深刻體會到，投身 STEAM 領域絕非僅是局限於實驗室內做研究，而是運用科技與智慧，親手建設我們城市的未來。

本次展覽的展出攤位內容豐富多樣，給同學們留下了深刻印象，不少學生更深受啟發，開始積極探索 STEAM 領域的未來職業發展方向。這次參觀再次證明，走出課室的體驗式學習不僅充滿互動與樂趣，更富深遠意義！
