Staff Development Day 2026: Cultural Heritage and National Security Education

2026教師專業發展日：文化傳承與國家安全教育

本校於2026年9月25日順利舉行教師專業發展日。教師首先參觀香港文化博物館，從不同展覽中認識香港的歷史、文化及藝術發展，並蒐集可應用於課堂教學的資料與意念。

下午，教師按學習領域分組，將參觀所得融入教學設計，並結合國家安全教育，發展具學科特色的課堂活動。各組分享了豐富的學科知識、教學內容及實用教案，展現多元而具創意的教學構思。

是次活動促進了教師之間的專業交流與協作，讓教師互相學習，並進一步探索如何把文化承傳、國民身份認同及國家安全教育自然地融入日常課堂。

Our Staff Development Day was successfully held on 25 September 2026. Teachers first visited the Hong Kong Heritage Museum, where they explored Hong Kong’s history, culture and artistic development while gathering ideas and materials for classroom use.

In the afternoon, teachers worked in Key Learning Area groups to transform their museum experience into lesson ideas connected with National Security Education. The groups presented a rich variety of subject knowledge, learning activities and practical lesson plans, demonstrating creative approaches to teaching and learning.

The programme promoted professional exchange and collaboration among teachers. It also provided opportunities for teachers to learn from one another and explore how cultural heritage, national identity and National Security Education can be naturally integrated into everyday teaching.
