Summary of Sister School Visit to Nansha Tianyuan School
Our school recently embarked on an enriching sister school visit to Nansha Tianyuan School of Guangzhou No.2 High School. This visit provided our students with a unique opportunity to engage in cultural exchange through music and physical education lessons alongside their local counterparts. A highlight of the visit was our students’ participation in Nepali dance and singing sessions conducted in Putonghua. This experience not only showcased the diversity of cultural expressions but also allowed students to bond over shared artistic practices, fostering friendship and understanding between the two schools.
The tour included explorations of the revitalized historical district of Yongqingfang, where students learned about traditional Chinese architecture and art at the Chen Clan Academy. They also experienced Guangzhou’s modern development through an enlightening Pearl River Night Cruise, showcasing the city’s stunning skyline.
In addition, students discovered the traditional art of craving at the Chen Clan Academy and gained valuable insights into sustainable energy solutions during a visit to the Guangzhou Fourth Resource Thermal Power Plant and the Jiuzhou Energy Company. The trip culminated in a thrilling experience at the Chimelong Circus Show, ensuring that our students left with unforgettable memories and a deeper appreciation for both local traditions and innovations.
This visit not only strengthened our connections with Nansha Tianyuan School but also enriched our students’ understanding of Chinese culture and sustainability. We look forward to future collaborations and exchanges.
