School Bridging Program 2026 中一新生銜接課程

Our new Form 1 “Broadwayers” joined us on the 28th of August for an engaging bridging program designed to ease their transition into secondary school. The event featured interactive workshops, performances, and team-building activities to foster collaboration, creativity, and communication.

在 8 月 28 日，我們的新一屆中一「百老匯人」（Broadwayers）參與了精彩豐富的銜接課程，旨在幫助他們順利適應中學生活。活動內容包括互動工作坊、表演及團隊建立活動，以培養學生的合作精神、創造力與溝通能力。

Welcome Performances The day opened with student representatives performing the school song, symbolizing unity and setting a welcoming tone for the educational journey ahead. Following this, the sing and dance team delivered energetic routines that showcased the diverse talents of our student body and highlighted the vibrant community spirit of the school.

活動以學生代表領唱校歌揭開序幕，象徵著團結一心，並為未來的學習之旅奠定溫馨熱烈的基調。隨後，歌舞隊帶來充滿活力的表演，展現了學生多元的才藝，並凸顯出學校活力澎湃的社群精神。

Subject Exploration & Interactive Workshops Throughout the program, students explored various disciplines and developed key skills through hands-on sessions:

在整個課程中，學生透過親手實踐的工作坊探索不同學科，並培養關鍵技能：

• Visual Arts: Students learned basic colour theory during a soft oil-pastel painting lesson and received their painting materials—including a mini easel, palette knife, and soft pastels—as souvenirs to take home.
• 視覺藝術：學生在軟粉彩繪畫課中學習了基礎色彩理論，並獲贈繪畫工具包——包括微型畫架、畫刀及軟粉彩，作為帶回家留念的紀念品。

• Mathematics: Through interactive stations, puzzles, and mini-games, students tackled mathematical concepts and problem-solving techniques in a fun, collaborative environment.

• 數學：透過互動攤位、智力拼圖及小型遊戲，學生在輕鬆愉快的合作環境中探索數學概念與解難技巧。

• Science:Hands-on experiments and live demonstrations brought scientific principles to life, with students taking their experiment products home to share their discoveries with parents.
• 科學：動手實驗與現場演示讓科學原理變得生動有趣，學生更可將實驗成品帶回家中，與父母分享他們的探索成果。

• Chinese Language & Culture: Using Chinese as the medium of learning, students explored the school’s background, history, and key information deepening their language skills while building familiarity with their new school environment
• 中國語文與文化：學生以中文作為學習媒介，探索學校背景、歷史及重要資訊，在深化語言能力的同時，建立對新學校環境的熟悉感。

• ECA (Sports): Energetic team games and physical challenges enabled students to practice real-time communication, trust, and sportsmanship while building strong peer connections outside the classroom.
• 課外活動（體育）：充滿活力的團隊遊戲與體能挑戰，讓學生在課外建立緊密的同儕關係，同時練習即時溝通、信任與體育精神。

• Social Work & Peer Bonding: Guided by school social workers, interactive ice-breakers and role-playing cultivated emotional intelligence, active listening, and empathy to help students navigate new social dynamics with confidence.
• 社工服務與同儕情誼：在學校社工的指導下，互動破冰遊戲與角色扮演培養了學生的情商、傾聽技巧與共情能力，幫助他們充滿自信地適應新的社交環境。

School Expectations & Future Outlook Beyond academic and skill-building sessions, engaging discussions introduced core school rules and expectations, empowering students to take responsibility for their actions and fostering a strong sense of belonging. Equipped with a solid subject foundation, enhanced interpersonal skills, and a clear understanding of school life, these young individuals are well-prepared to embrace new challenges and make significant contributions to our school community.
