PTA – AGM 2025

AGM of Delia Memorial School (Broadway) Parent-Teacher Association

The 28th Annual General Meeting (AGM) of PTA (2025-26) was held from 10:15 am to 12:15 pm at the school gymnasium on 13th September 2025 (Sat). This year, 138 Parents and 56 teachers attended the AGM.

Mr. Lo, School Principal, first welcomed parents and took the opportunity to brief parents the annual school plan and major concerns (2025-26), school fee remission scheme, the reserve for construction, maintenance and upgrading of above-standard facilities and scholarships and awards. After that, Ms. Leung, the chairperson, and Mr. Kot, the treasurer, reported the PTA work done and finance of the PTA respectively. The school also arranged the school social workers to brief parents the Healthy School Scheme with a Drug Testing Component and the Mandatory Reporting of Child Abuse Ordinance. This year, we specially arranged a talk on “Parents’ role in students’ learning at home” by the education psychologist, Joyce Tse.

Finally, the election for the 28th PTA Standing Committee (2025-26) took place. Mr. Tsang explained the procedure and invited the four candidates to introduce themselves to the parent and teacher attendees. Subsequently, ballot papers were distributed, collected, and counted in front of the attendees. The results revealed that Ms. Rehmat Samina received the most votes, followed by Ms. Yolanda S. Marquez, who will assume the roles of chairperson and assistant treasurer, respectively.
