It is with great pleasure that I nominate Calvin for this award. The definition of admire is to highly value someone and appreciate their effort. However, this does not begin to express how grateful I am to have Calvin as my student. Calvin has long been exemplary for other students as he is always dedicating what seems to be equal energy, passion and commitment to both academic and extracurricular activities.
To further support my nomination, I am pleased to provide more details about Calvin’s academic and extracurricular activities performance. As a dedicated students, Calvin always display critical thinking in all the subjects. His inquiry mind facilitates his learning as he is willing to take on new challenges. He is attentive and always willing to lift the performance of his classmates as well. He is susceptible to guidance from the teachers while maintaining an independent enquiry approach for his learning. His outstanding performance in school exams last academic year bears testimony for his hardworking and effort in studying.
As a house captain, Calvin displays strong leadership by always going above and beyond his position to take on additional tasks and responsibilities. Although he is a student, his dedication to his work is equivalent to, if not more than a full time staff. He is responsible for organizing various activities for his classmates and motivating them to participate. Despite the tremendous workloads that he faces, he is always not only hardworking, but also positive, kind and has uplifting words to share with his classmates. He personifies what it means to be a great captain.
