Our recent Korea study tour from June 30 to July 4 was an unforgettable journey filled with exploration, creativity, and cultural enrichment. A group of 38 talented girls from various ECA teams—primarily the singing team, OG girls dancing team, and cheering team—were selected to embark on this incredible adventure to Seoul and Incheon, where they immersed themselves in the vibrant culture of South Korea.
From the moment we arrived, the excitement was palpable. Our first stop, Nanshan Park, offered breathtaking views of Korea, highlighted by the iconic Namsan Tower. The day concluded with an exhilarating shopping experience in Myeongdong, where the energy of the city enveloped us, leaving us excited of what is to come next.

Day 2 kicked off with our first dance workshop at Zenith Global Academy, where we had the privilege of learning from Ju Sun Lee, a renowned choreographer known for his work with top K-pop artists like PSY. The girls were both nervous and thrilled to be in his presence, as they absorbed the bubbly choreography taught by Jea/Yoon Yoojin. The day continued at Hike GROUND, where we took memorable photos against stunning backdrops and enjoyed the serene Cheonggyecheon Stream that was right outside. Being by the stream definitely felt like we were transported to a different place where it was quieter and felt fresher.

Day 3 was a highlight, as we visited the KBS Station. The interactive experiences, from standing in front of a green screen to voice acting, allowed both students and teachers to step into the world of broadcasting, creating laughter and unforgettable memories. Later, we attended our routine. We capped off the day with the NANTA SHOW, a comedic performance that left us in stitches and eager for more.

Our fourth day was a delightful mix of relaxation and discovery. The awe-inspiring Starfield Library provided the perfect backdrop for stunning photos, while our visit to Suwon Hwaseong Fortress immersed us in Korea’s rich history. Trying archery for the first time was a thrilling experience! The day ended with a fascinating tour of the Samsung Innovation Museum, where we marveled at the latest technological advancements.

On our final day, we engaged in hands-on cultural experiences at the Korean Culture Experience Center, where we made our own bibimbap and donned traditional hanboks. This deepened our appreciation for South Korea’s culinary traditions and cultural heritage. Our last dance workshop with Peacock Tae Hu Lee challenged us with a dynamic hip-hop choreography, leaving us invigorated and inspired.

Throughout our stay, we were fortunate to enjoy beautiful weather and the warmth of the local people. The delicious food and genuine hospitality made our experience even more memorable. This tour not only showcased the allure of K-pop and skincare brands but also revealed the profound cultural values of respect and community—principles that resonate deeply with us as Hong Kongers.
As we reflect on this incredible journey, we recognize that despite our differences, the threads of shared values connect us across cultures. This trip has broadened our perspectives and deepened our appreciation for the rich tapestry of life in South Korea.
