I can Fly Youth Academy

To celebrate Cathay Pacific’s 80th anniversary, our student PUN Dipali participated in the I Can Fly Youth Academy from July 14 to July 24, 2026. This two-week aviation summer camp and cultural exchange gathered 40 selected students from Hong Kong and 40 from Mainland China (aged 14 to 18) to explore the inner workings of the commercial airline industry across two major aviation hubs:

• Chengdu Leg (July 15–18): The program commenced in Chengdu on July 15 with visits to the AVIC Aviation Theme Base and educational tours at the Civil Aviation Flight University of China.
• Hong Kong Leg (July 18–24): The group flew to Hong Kong on July 18 for specialized hands-on exposure, which included behind-the-scenes access to Cathay City headquarters, the Civil Aviation Department (CAD), the Government Flying Service (GFS), and HAECO’s aircraft maintenance hangars.

The academy concluded with a graduation ceremony at Cathay City on July 24, 2026. The student expressed deep gratitude for being chosen to participate in this landmark experience hosted by Cathay Pacific.
