Environmental Protection Education 2024 – 2025

Environmental Protection Department - Talk on 18th Nov and Game Booths on 20th Nov

The Guidance Team has invited the Environmental Protection Department (EPD) to give a talk to S1 students on 18th Nov, 2024 during the OLE period. 

The GO Team of the EPD educates students environmental knowledge like waste reduction and recycling, community recycling facilities, etc. in a comprehensible way through school talks.

The Green Outreach Team of the EPD carries out school promotional services to provide students the latest information on waste reduction and recycling, and community recycling facilities through game booths. Game booths were set up at the school hall during lunch time on 20th Nov, 2024. A lot of students participated and won some gifts.

Aims:

1. Students learn to practice recycling for the sake of environmental conservation.

2. Students learn to keep the school clean.

Why?
In order to help conserving the environment, a Recycling Campaign to encourage students to practice recycling of waste paper to encourage students to keep our school clean is organized.

Recycling Campaign – How?

1. Each class has a box for collecting waste paper.

2. Class teachers assign at least 2 Class Environmental Protection Ambassadors (CEPAs) to help collect scrap/waste paper and deliver the recycling box to the School Environmental Protection Ambassadors (SEPAs) on ground floor during the 1st class-teacher period.

3. The collected waste paper will be weighted and recorded by SEPAs.

4. The results will be counted at the end of each school term.
