CHAMPIONS! Grade C Boys Football Team Triumphs in HKSSF D3K1 Final!
Our school is celebrating a historic sporting achievement today as our Grade C Boys Football Team) were crowned champions on 18th May, 2026 after an unforgettable tournament run!
A Dominant Journey to the Top
The boys set the tournament alight right from the group stages, putting on a masterclass of attacking football and rock-solid defense. The team stormed through the groups with three consecutive wins—scoring an astonishing 24 goals and conceding zero.
However, the true test of champions is how they handle adversity. In the quarter-finals, the boys showed incredible mental toughness, surviving a nerve-wracking penalty shootout to keep their trophy dreams alive. They followed that up with a gritty, hard-fought 2-1 victory over a formidable opponent in the semi-finals, showing the tactical discipline and heart required to reach the grand stage.
The Final Showdown
Yesterday’s final was a showcase of everything that makes this team special. Facing the toughest opponent of the tournament, our boys executed the game plan perfectly.
Our energetic front line pressed the opposition from the first whistle, while our midfield controlled the tempo of the game, threatening with brilliant long-range passes and dangerous distance shots. On the flanks, our smart wing plays and overlapping defense created endless problems for the opponent. Crucially, when the pressure was at its highest, our defense stayed calm, composed, and utterly reliable, anchoring the team all the way to the final whistle.
