Delia Memorial School (Broadway) recently held a successful Book Day Competition. The event ran from November 11 to 14 and was organized by the English and Visual Arts Departments. It was an exciting and educational event that made reading fun for everyone.
Themes and Teamwork
The competition had two main themes. Students in S1 to S3 focused on Fantasy. Meanwhile, students in S4 and S5 explored Mystery and Thriller books.
Preparing for the event was a big team effort involving the whole class. Every student was given a task to do. They worked together to research their book, plan a budget, and design their booth. To help with the costumes, the Visual Arts Department also held a special fashion design workshop for the students.
Activities and Games
On the event days, five students from each class managed a booth. They gave presentations to explain their book’s story to students and teachers. They also brought the characters to life through cosplay. The booths were very lively because the teams hosted interactive games and gave out prizes to students who played.

Students from S1 to S5 voted for the best booth. After counting the votes, we are happy to announce the winners:
| S1 Winner: 1H |
