4 students from S4, both Biology groups- 4D KHAN AYSHA BIBI, 4D HENARES, JANINA THERESE GONZAGA, 4D FARHIN SOHAIL, and 4D ZAMAN EMAAN. They had the workshop “Gut microbiome, Nutrition, and immunity” launched by The Hong Kong Polytechnic University in collaboration with Yakult Company.
The School Bridging Program for new S1 students, held on August 28 and 29, 2024, welcomed newcomers with activities fostering teamwork, creativity, and communication.
During the summer holiday, some S5 Biology students, CHAK TUNG, TAGAO SHERMAINE SHELDEE CARLOS, KHAN FARHAN and KANDANGWA NEBIS got the opportunity to join the summer Science Engagement Program launched by The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK).
The program aims to inspire students with their interest in science, especially biology, and practice students with their hands-on experience in scientific research and field visits, giving students chances to explore their possible career paths and directions in scientific research.
On 21st July and 22nd July, Our School students joined the iGEM exploring workshop launched by 2025 HKUST iGEM Team and the Hong Kong- HS iGEM Team. During the workshop, students are being introduced to the idea of synthetic Biology and related inspirational research from both teams.
From July 10 to 14, 2025, a group of 36 students embarked on an enriching study tour to Osaka, Japan, with day trips to Nara and Kyoto. We explored popular sites in Osaka, Nara, and Kyoto and had the special opportunity to attend the World Expo held every five years. The purpose of the trip was to expose our students to Japanese culture and to showcase the technologies and innovative solutions to global challenges featured at the World Expo 2025. A group of 36 S.5 students and 4 teachers travelled to Singapore in order to explore multiculturalism, ethnic harmony, advancements in science and technology, and sustainable city development from 27th to 30th June.
We recently celebrated our Multicultural Day, a celebration of diversity and inclusion at our school! Held on July 7 and 8, this event showcased the rich cultural heritage of our students and school staff.
